Dynamic Freestyle Yoga

These challenging classes for all levels/abilities encompass diverse aspects of yoga. Typically a class consists of yogic philosophy and contemplation, pranayama/voice and breathing development, sanskrit/mantra/chakra balancing chanting, vinyasa (a steady flow of asana postures), hands-on adjustments and alignments, advanced techniques for more advanced students and deep relaxation and meditation. Inspirational music keeps the rhythm and flow of the class uplifting and fresh whilst sequences are constantly changing to challenge the mind and physical body.

Dynamic Yoga

A flowing and strong practice for all levels/abilities. Like Dynamic Freestyle this practice, however, is slower with the focus orbiting around helping students develop and understand the science and art of vinyasa. Developing awareness of alignments with hands-on adjustments and opportunities for students to ask questions.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha represents opposing forces - fire and water, male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga re-balances the mind and body through physical asanas and pranayama exercises. Asanas teach poise, balance, physical and mental strength and improve the body's physical well-being and helps to develop calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation.

Deep Stretch/Lazy Sunday/Yin Yoga

A complimentary class to all Dynamic classes that we offer. This class helps to develop a deeper understanding of our bodies, of alignments and helps the body and mind to relax on a much deeper level. This class is very popular. It has positive benefits for those in physical rehabilitation from accidents, sporting injuries or those new to exercise as our instructors are also highly qualified physiotherapists, masseurs and body workers.

Beginner's Yoga

Developed and focused towards those who are new to yoga. Although all levels are welcome in these classes we look at developing the basics and teach our students to develop a good understanding and gain a strong foundation in all areas from asana, pranayama and meditation.

Early Bird Yoga

If you struggle getting up in the mornings or fitting exercise into your schedule then the early bird is designed for you. The class is developed to help motivate and get the best out of you for the day. With uplifting asanas and powerful breathing exercises this class will leave your body and mind feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and ready for the day.

Pre & Post Natal Yoga

With our experienced, approachable and dedicated teacher Geraldine, herself a mum, who during and after her first pregnancy practiced and taught pregnancy yoga (as well as Dynamic!), you only need to meet her and you will know you are in safe and very capable hands. Master Class

These classes are structured more like weekly-workshops and help the intermediate or advanced student to slow down and move deeper into their practice of yoga and asanas.

By honing in on certain areas of the body either through asanas, breathing or awareness, students are given the opportunity to explore their bodies and their practice further.

The area of class focus varies week-to-week, one week looking at the lower spine the next, looking at the core. Or the classes may focus on a certain posture where students can break it down and explore it further, or you maybe looking at the energy concepts of certain postures, pranayamas, chakras, mudras or kriyas.

Each class contains an element of a strong dynamic asana practice, giving the student time to explore the deeper concepts that yoga and the practice of asanas can offer. This class is not suited for beginners.
